You never want to feel like you've got to do something that you can, even when you choose not to.
No..you can't believe the truth.
Living in a cage is easy to do
when everyone feeds you what you choose to eat...
but you can't
swallow the meat.
And if you have no choice, then doing nothing's so much easier to explain
if you have no voice
then you can't take the blame
for doing nothing.
Sitting on a perch in confidence, caged in metal
caged inside a fence
and yet you still don't want the key.
No-one wants to hear that they've got to do
something that they can even though they don't want to, oh i can't believe
its true.
